How do I connect my TikTok account?
Click the "Login with TikTok" button on our platform. You'll be redirected to TikTok's official login page where you can authorize our app. We use OAuth 2.0 for secure authentication, and you can revoke access at any time through your TikTok settings.
What permissions does VideoShare require?
We request the following TikTok permissions:
- user.info.basic: To read your profile information (display name, avatar)
- video.upload: To upload videos to your TikTok account as drafts or direct posts
How do I upload a video to TikTok?
After connecting your TikTok account:
- Select your video file (supported formats: MP4, MOV, WebM)
- Add title, description, and hashtags
- Choose to save as draft or post directly
- Click "Upload" and wait for confirmation
What's the difference between Draft and Direct Post?
Draft Mode: Your video is uploaded to your TikTok drafts. You can then open the TikTok app to add effects, music, and make final edits before posting.
Direct Post: Your video is posted directly to your TikTok profile with the settings you've configured in our platform.
What video formats are supported?
We support the following video formats and specifications:
- Formats: MP4, MOV, WebM
- Maximum file size: 4GB
- Maximum duration: 10 minutes
- Recommended resolution: 1080x1920 (9:16 aspect ratio)

How do I disconnect my TikTok account?
